Testimonials
Northshore Health and Rehab is not just a Nursing Home. It is a Community of People who become your family. It is a blessing to live here. To all the employees it is not just a job. They treat you like family. Always ready to help and give you love. From Activities to laundry and housekeeping and on, and on. Everyone treats us with love and respect. The Activities keep your head thinking well, with games, Art, Parties etc. I could go on and on about them doing everything with love, but this paper is just not big enough to contain it all!

On May 4th, 2022, I was transported from Poudre Vally Hospital to North Shore Health and Rehab center because I had taken a bad fall after my knee surgery went array. I was admitted to Timber view and could neither talk nor walk. For a few days I could not even form a word in my brain. Thanks to the excellent care of the doctors, Nurses, Physical therapist and CNAS, in a few days I could talk again and walk with a walker.
After two months I was moved to Mountain View Resident side. It has become my home with staff and residents becoming my second family. I would like to introduce you to each department at this facility.
Nursing-We have a great nursing staff. They are so giving and caring. I grade them with an A+! The CNAS under the nursing staff's guidance tends to our needs with kindness and caring. In November of 2022 I had COVID 19 and was near death but through the excellent care of the doctors, Nurses, and CNAS I survived.
Activities- We are so fortunate to have such an array of activities with a team of four wonderful and Talented ladies who work tirelessly to provide recreation for us daily. They also provide spiritual growth through Hymn songs and Church services.
Dietary- We have a great Chef who supervises kitchen staff. They Provide us with Nutritious meals. Also, they serve it with a smile, and they accommodate the residents every request being made at mealtimes. They are hardworking!
Laundry-Our soiled laundry is picked up between 5 and 5:30 AM and is returned to us clean by 9:30 AM. A staff of four helps in the dining room during breakfast as well. They work tirelessly to keep us in clean clothes.
Transportation- We have a company van that transports us to medical appointments as well as shopping ventures. Also, field trips are provided.
Maintenace-Two men in this department stay busy finding things that need fixed. They do an excellent job in a timely manner.
Physical Therapy- The staff in this department lends to our health and well-being. They get a big “Thank you” from everyone. Excellent!
Social Services- These staff members are the main problem solvers here. They have always been of great assistance to me when I have gone to them about my problems.
Housekeeping- This crew cleans our rooms twice or three times per week. They keep this place very, very clean. They also assist in moving people into room changes. They are particularly important to this facility because they enhance our health.
Resident Counsil-The staff and residents meet monthly to discuss issues that need to be addresses. We come up with solutions together. Any resident or staff members are welcome to attend. For four months I have served as president of this resident Counsil. It is an awesome task advocating for all the resident population. A position I take very seriously.
Administration- We have an extraordinary administrator. The staff members work very hard to make experiences at Northshore health and rehab wonderful place to call Home!
